Discuss, in your own words, why middle-aged
consumers are the major source of revenue for Harley-Davidson.
·
Discuss, in three paragraphs, how you would
market Harley-Davidson motorcycles and accessories to a younger market. (Think about price range, design, style,
accessories, clothing, etc)

- Bell Work: Have you ever gone to a store and the salesperson showed you a product, mentioned a feature or two, and never told you what the benefit was? [For example: if you looked at a flat screen TV and the salesperson said “This Sony model has LED display.” You might think, “So what? What does that do for me?”] Give an example.

Bell Work: What is the difference between a feature and a benefit?

Do Hard Things,.
Do all products have both?
Today we will work in pairs to complete the product/feature/benefit handout. After this timed exercise, we will exchange our lists with another team and allow them to comment on our lists. Next, we will create a seven-slide PowerPoint (it's OK to do more) that includes the following:
- The Product we Choose
- Two Features of that product--in bullet list
- Two Benefits of each Feature--in bullet list
- Two Questions we would ask a potential customer if we were trying to sell him our product.
- A common template for PowerPoint
- Transitions between slides
- Animation on slides
- Clip art, logos, or pictures on all slides.
